Naples remodeling
Cost, permits, condos and payments
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Naples in 2026, and what does your package include?
A same-footprint refresh from about $35,000 and a full kitchen from about $55,000. Your estimate is itemized line by line.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Naples, and can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
A guest bath refresh from about $12,000 and a primary bath with a tub-to-shower conversion from about $28,000. Curbless where the slab allows, with frameless glass and grab bars with blocking.
My condo only allows renovation from May to October. When do I need to start planning to make this summer?
Book by March for a May start. Design, selections and the board package take six to ten weeks and most boards want the application before their last spring meeting.
Do you prepare the condo association or HOA application, and what does a board package include?
Yes, at no charge. Sixteen enclosures from the association's form to the permit, with insurance naming your association's exact legal name. The full list is on the checklist page.
I live up north part of the year. Can you run the whole remodel while I'm away, and how will I see progress?
Yes. Video walkthrough, selections by sample box, change orders by text and email with photos, and a Friday update with a short video every week.
Who holds the keys, and do you work with my home-watch service or building manager?
You choose who holds keys. We coordinate access with your home-watch service or building manager and log every entry in the Friday update.
Does my remodel need a Collier County or City of Naples permit, and how long does it take?
Yes for plumbing, electrical or structural work. The city issues permits inside its limits, the county elsewhere. Simple permits often take one to three weeks. We apply within 30 days of the deposit.
What is the FEMA 50% rule, and could my remodel trigger it?
If your home is in a flood zone and improvements reach 50% of the building's value, the structure must meet current flood rules. The City of Naples and unincorporated Collier County count past work differently, and the city changed its rule in December 2024. We check your address against the current rule before pricing.
How do your payments work? How much is the deposit, and when is each payment due?
Deposit 10% or less, then progress payments only after a stage is finished and its inspection has passed, and the final after permit closeout.
What happens if the price changes after we sign?
Nothing changes without your signature. Hidden conditions get photos and a written price first, changes use the same unit prices, and our estimating mistakes are ours to pay for.
What does your warranty cover, and for how long?
Our own workmanship from final completion, for the term stated in your contract. Products are covered by their makers and we pass every manufacturer warranty on. Service requests are confirmed within 1 business day.
Do you offer financing, and will checking my rate affect my credit?
A lending partner is being chosen. Until it is, we cannot show monthly payments or rate checks, because the rules require the lender's own wording.
How do I verify your Florida license and insurance?
Search CGC1534542 on the DBPR portal. The record shows Greenhome Remodeling Inc, the qualifier and the expiry. Ask for the insurance certificate and it arrives the same day.
Which materials hold up best to Naples humidity and salt air?
Plywood cabinet boxes, quartz over marble, porcelain over natural stone on floors, and stainless or solid-brass hardware. We will say so if a selection is likely to fail here.
Can you schedule work around hurricane season, and how do you protect an open jobsite if a storm comes?
Yes. Open-wall stages are planned outside the peak months where the schedule allows. If a storm comes the site is secured, loose materials removed, and the schedule updated in writing.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
Most owners do. The hardest stretch is the one to two weeks without a working kitchen or bath, and we sequence the work to keep it short.
How fast will you reply?
A real person from the Naples team within the day during office hours.
Is my address City of Naples or unincorporated Collier?
Your tax bill says. Roughly, the older coastal core is the city and most of the rest is the county. It changes the permit office and the 50% rule lookback.
Not the cheapest. Never a surprise.
Tell us about the room. We'll send a price you can check.
A written, itemized estimate after the walkthrough, held for 30 days, with the payment schedule and warranty attached. No pressure visit, no lump sums.
