A curbless shower needs the drain lowered or moved so the floor can slope to it. In a slab-on-grade home that means cutting the slab, which is routine. In many condos the drain cannot move, so we build a low-curb shower with a linear drain instead. We tell you which at the walkthrough, with the reason.
Everything else is your choice: tile, a niche or two, a bench, a hand shower on a slide bar, and where the grab bars go now versus where we leave blocking for later.

How much does a tub-to-shower conversion cost in Naples?
From about $28,000 as part of a primary bath remodel. The conversion alone inside an otherwise untouched room is possible and priced line by line from the same unit prices.
Can my shower be curbless?
If the drain can be lowered or moved, yes. Slab-on-grade homes usually allow it. Many condos do not, and we build a low-curb shower with a linear drain instead. We confirm at the walkthrough.
How long does it take?
Five to seven weeks on site as part of a primary bath remodel. The flood test adds a day and is worth every hour.
Will it hurt resale to remove the only tub?
Keeping one tub in the home is the usual advice. If this is the only tub, we say so and you decide. Many Naples buyers over fifty prefer a walk-in shower.
Do you add grab bars?
Two are included, with in-wall blocking. We can add blocking wherever you might want a bar later so it can be fitted without opening the wall.
Who pulls the permit?
We do. Moving plumbing requires one. Collier County or the City of Naples issues it, we book the inspections, and the permit is closed before your final payment.
